Its great to see artists joining the social movement, so to speak. I think the ones who really get it are more of the indie, not-so-mainstream people who take the time to really connect and understand their audience. Do you think the more mainstream an artist gets, the more disconnected they are from the people who put them there in the first place? In this day in age, I don’t really think that should be a problem since its easier to connect with people more than ever. What artists need to realize is that they’re not just there to look pretty anymore, but to be the biggest evangelist of their brand. In essence, they’re the most influencial voice in their own PR department.
Looks like a door for the walled garden. Pretty cool!
