THE 8-BIT SCENE AND GETTING OUT OF YOUR PERSONAL BUBBLE

When I need new ideas for a campaign, I go into worlds I am not used to. The 8-bit music scene is worth checking out. I’m not a big fan of the music myself, but there are some very cool and creative things happening there. I particularly liked Peter Kirn’s post at Create Digital Music about how the 8-bit scene is growing and remaining relevant. Good advice – check out his post here!,

Welcome

My name is Jeremy Welt, and I'm exploring the convergence of video, humans, technology and culture.

I've been working with Youtube and developing short from content since 2006, when I helped broker YouTube's first idea ever with Warner Music Group (pre Google), all the way up to playing a major role in Disney's Acquisition of Maker in 2014. I love combining data, technology and creativity. Throw in a quick culture detour as Chief Digital Officer for Revolt TV.

I'm passionate about the power of influencers, and consider myself lucky to have worked with some of the most amazing and forward thinking talent in the world. I'm a musician, creator, and tech enthusiast and I enjoy sharing and discussing my expereinces.

From SVP of Marketing at Maker Studios, and SVP of Digital Marketing and strategy at Warner Bros Records. I've put new ideas into motion with artists and technology for the last 15 years.

I'll be blogging about some of my projects, ideas, and attempts to launch new experiences.
